Nowadays Direct Fabrics is a third-generation family business; for over 60 years we have expanded our business with loyal and dedicated staff.

All our fabrics are made to the size and bespoke to your requirements. We use luxury linings to make our standard velvet and crushed velvet curtains.
If you want to have a blackout velvet curtains then you can simply add on our 3 pass blackout lining or buy our polyester velvet which is a wide width fabric that comes with the 3 pass coating already applied to the reverse of the fabric. This means you get the blackout effect through the material as well as the thermal improvement as all the holes in the weave has been filled with the coating.

You have a full choice of headings and linings. Unlike ready made fully lined curtains you can choose to upgrade to a blackout lined curtain. So you will get a pair of fully lined curtains for your window or stage.
All our velvets are a heavy weight and this means that you get a luxury product. As the curtains are manufactured to your exact specification you can choose what to have.
